The Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival ( Antalya Altın Portakal Film Festivali), held annually since 1963 in Antalya, is the most important national film festival in Turkey. The event, jointly organized by the Foundation of Culture and Arts in Antalya takes place in the autumn months at the Antalya Cultural Center. Since 2005, the festival is accompanied by the International Eurasia Film Festival. The festival starts with a parade in the city of Antalya in the evening of the first day. The opening ceremony takes place at the Konyaaltı Amphitheatre or in Antalya Cultural Center in presence of national and international film celebrities invited. At this ceremony, honorary awards are presented to cinema people for their contribution.
